September 08 Before I die!I watched this program last night about this woman who chase her dream to travel all the way to the artic circle so she can see the Northern Light. She read this book and saw the drawing of the Southern Light when she was 8. (She still has the book and she is about 60 now). She has always wanted to see the light. The program follows her journey to the artic circle where she travelled on the Polar express and Husky slayand she stayed a night in the ice hotel. Eventually she was drove to the middle of a field and waited. The sky began to moved and there it was, the whole sky was filled with Northern Light. It was absolutely amazing to see even on the tele. For some reason it was so emotional and the kind of joy that I got from just watching the tele was weird.
I have always wanted to travel to the North pole and stay there for a week. Seeing the Northern Light is definitely one of the thing that I wanted to do before I die. It's going to be hard and it's going to be unbelieverabley cold but I am up for it. I wonder how much do I need to make this come true? May be I could plan a trip next year! Why wait?
